1. Not legal advice
AI Act Check is an automated self-assessment and template tool based on our reading of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) and related guidance. It is general information only. It is not legal advice, does not create a lawyer–client relationship and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction. Results depend entirely on the answers you give and the law may change after our last review date.
2. Products
- Free check: the risk classification and role result shown in the wizard.
- Document pack (A$75 one-off): a digital set of documents generated in your browser from your answers (classification memo, Article 50 notice text, Annex IV technical documentation skeleton, AI inventory entry and next-steps checklist). Once unlocked you can print or download them. It is unlocked in the browser you use to pay; save or download your documents.
- Updates plan (A$29 per month): includes the document pack, plus email alerts when relevant rules, guidance or deadlines change and refreshed templates, for as long as your subscription is active. It renews monthly until you cancel.
Prices are in Australian dollars and are charged by Stripe. Your bank may add currency conversion fees.
3. Licence
You may use and adapt the generated documents for your own organisation's internal compliance purposes. You may not resell or redistribute the templates or the tool as a product.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of your answers, for reviewing and completing the generated documents and for your own compliance decisions.
5. No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the site, results and documents are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including that they are accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, or that using them will make you compliant or avoid penalties.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, fines or penalties arising from your use of the site or documents, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Where our liability for breach of such a guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
8. Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
9. Changes
We may change the site, products, prices and these terms. Price changes to the updates plan will be notified by email before they apply to you.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
